About SMARtRA

SMARtRA is a research writing assistant from DNRS.ai. It helps authors draft a paper (SMARtRADraft), review a finished manuscript against a Scopus Q1 or Q2 standard (SMARtRAScore, and SMARtRAScorePlus with a comparison against peer papers), or have a paper written, scored and revised (SMARtRAWrite).

The method

The scoring rubric is the SMARt Methodology of Dr. Srini Ramaswamy: every section is rated on grounding, rigor, contribution and alignment, and each gap is stated with the passage it rests on and a measurable way to close it. The methodology draws on more than 30 years in academia and industry: about 300 publications (over 200 peer reviewed), 12 PhD dissertations and more than 50 M.S. theses mentored, and a long record of reviewing.

How it is carried out

Reviews are produced with AI assistance and scripted integrity checks, such as DOI verification against Crossref, citation tracing and numeric consistency. A review is not a peer review, a rating is an estimate of readiness for a venue of that kind, and topics that need a person with the right expertise are listed in each report.
